Easter Sunday

We made faces on some bunny cinnamon rolls for breakfast!

Went to church!  The girls got new matching skirts! And we gave Z an early Bday present . . . . a suit!  :)   He looked really good!  They all did!!!  I got asked a lot if I made the girls skirts . . . I did not.   One could do that though  if they found the right fabric and  matching colored elastic . . . I only had time to find them on a winter clearance rack!   I figured they looked like a nice spring color (not the typical winter colors)  - meant to be - score!!!  :)   

 

Had dinner!  YUMMY!!!     Everyone brought something so it was easy on me!

            

Ak enjoys hearing two hands together on the piano!   So she got a partner  to play with her . . .   Thanks for being willing Uncle Matt!

Dying Eggs!

 

It's always fun to color eggs!

 

 D got creative with painter's tape and created some cool looking eggs!  :)

 

Church Easter Activity

We colored, we crafted (Easter Lily Hand print on a straw craft), we sang some songs, we hunted eggs . . . . it was a good turnout and fun!  We brought H along and we invited the 3 girls from around the corner!    

 

 

Kindergarten Egg Hunt

 It was cold and wet outside, so they did the activity inside.   The kids didn't care - they were happy to hunt in the classroom!

  

Busy Weekend

 

  My dad came and watched my kids at my house while I got to go to Time Out for Women with some friends from church!   My mom got to go too with some ladies from her ward!   The theme was "Higher!"  We should think higher, believer higher, and live higher.

The same weekend was the 8th grade field trip to NYC - D went as a chaperone.    

End of Basketball Season

 

 Z made lots of baskets this season!!!  :)

 I never got a clear picture of his happy smile or dance confidence after he made a basket as he ran down the court!  :)

 Below Ak did NOT want to take a picture next to the bench . . . she wanted it next to the window.   Figured I would document the roller coaster of feelings at our house!  :)   I'm sure we're normal if we were to compare ourselves to others .. . . but we're not comparing - we're moving on.   :)    (Ak is wearing the skirt B made for her!)

Gimme S'More!

 Wearing this shirt inspired that request today.  :)    It also reminded them that they really don't like s'mores that much and we should wait to eat them while camping!!!  :)  

Old Railroad Bridge

They have made this old railroad bridge into a walking/biking path - love the idea!

They haven't completed the other side . . . it just stops once you cross the river .. . . you have to go back the way you came.  :)

 They have also added a playground . . . always a fun thing for kids!  Just remember to pack your own TP if you think you might have to go!  :)
