EW!

My old college roommate and her sister and our friend did a skit based on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon's clips of EW!   They looked awesome dressed up and it was funny to watch!  Her sister is a HUGE fan of Jimmy Fallon and hopes to go see a live show one day!  You might not get this if you haven't seen Jimmy Fallon dress up as Sara (purple sundress) - "that's SARA with no H because h's are EW!"

My kids were doing their own skit based on this . . .  they did a good job voice impersonating them!  :)   So I had them dress up to match.  :)  

 

Trick or Treating

We went on our street . . . Ak didn't want to walk with D!  FREAKY guy!  But next to him I looked dressed up and ice.    (there were snow flurries before we went out!  cold night!  Ak wanted to look good . . . so we had to find a costume that would look good with a coat on and not too covered up!)

 

 Then we went to a neighborhood close by with our friends - D changed to be able to breathe easier. . . which made me look less dressed up and not so nice as before!!!  He loves to dress up!  

  

It started raining at the end . . . which made it even more cold. . . but they lasted a long time out there!   Our friends invited us in for hot chocolate and a movie.  D and the kids joined in but I had plans - fun night for all!!!

Random things in October

Our neighbors got their grand daughter a saddle!  And they invited our kids over to go try it out!  I love living near a family with land and animals!!!  I love needing rain boats to "go out on the farm"!   :)   

 

 Fun birthday party they attended where they got to paint a Halloween theme picture . . . or whatever they wanted (Zman!)  :)   I even got to paint one!  :)

 Mammaw came and babysat on her birthday!

 YES, their bums hurt after all that jumping . . . they learned leaves don't make the ground soft.  :)  I guess when they were little they didn't pick up as much momentum as they did this time!  :)

 

   They still had a great time, Thank you Grandpa!!!

 

Zoo Fieldtrip

 

  

Visitors!

Grandpa Paul and Grandma Debbie came to visit!

 

 We always like to play games with them!

 

 They cooked lunch for us while we were at church - had it ready for us to sit down when we came home!    I would have been happy for them to cook food for my family but they also cooked for me!  Chicken quesadillas and apple pockets for them AND a vegetable skillet dish that I could eat!!!! (they left the cheese off one side!)   It was YUMMY!!!!    We all liked it and almost ate the whole thing! 

 

 And of course more games!  :)

Burkoween

The kids get to go trick or treating at their school, check out B's friend's costume her mom made!!!!  WOW!

 

 D took them around while I was asked by the PTA to help watch the pumpkin display.

 

 I borrowed scrubs to help camouflage my mask!   Here I am with my friend Carla (she works at the school) she loves to dress up and ALWAYS looks so good!!!
