An Apostle & February normal activities

Elder Gong (one of the 12 Apostles) came to Kentucky!!!!  David really wanted to hear him speak but we didn't know if we would get to since he was going to certain meetings.   So when we made time to take our kids to the temple and walked into the lobby and SAW HIM shaking hands - we were all excited and felt blessed!!!   We paused and he ended up coming by us and shaking our hands too!!!!   He was traveling with an Area 70 that is over East Africa and it came up that David served his mission there and then the temple announced to be built in Kenya came up.   David or I said that David is saving money to go to that Temple Dedication and Elder Gong to David said, "Take your family."   So then later, David was joking that "An apostle of the Lord told him to take his whole family!  So we all have to go."    With my immunity and there being vacinnes to take before going to AFRICA  . . .I really hadn't thought about me.    This is why we should have written it down that night!   Do we remember this right?!?!?!  Did he say "you should take your family"  or was it "TAKE your family".   Was a cool experience!   Plus as we left we saw some friends that used to live in Etown that now live up closer to the temple, The Burkhardts!

Feb 10 - we did get to a meeting where Elder Gong talked!  An old friend Nick Cease, asked me to ask David to help with the security detail!  (um . . . YES he will!  Dream job for David!)   Afterwards - he asked if we wanted a picture . .  YES we do but were nervous to ask!!!  :)
