Garden Report from Summer

 Seeing Grandma's garden in progress.....

 

Some of what we grew in our backyard! We are thankful for Grandma & Grandpa helping us get it started!

 

Fun to go out and pick produce to eat that day!  (once I over looked a cucumber!  oops!)

I fried okra and green tomatoes!  Perhaps my first time - YUMMY! 

 (Other years, I always let my mom do it . . .also yummy!!!)  

 

A rabbit chewed through my net .... multiple days/spots!!!  So mad! But luckily it was after the plants had grown .. . . so didn't completely ruin my harvest!

Support Ag Ed

 B is the FFA President this year!  So when we saw that Culvers was having a support Ag Education day ..... and we could get scoops for only ONE $$.... we had to go!!!  Twice!  :) 

  

Took my $1 cup home for Dad to eat later.... even though BC - I loved frozen custard!!!  

Activity Girls Sewing

 

I offered to help the Activity Girls make a pillow case.   Luckily a mom stayed and Sis. Studer!   I needed the help to get it done in such a short amount of time!

 

Egg Experiment

For seminary - I suggested an experiment with Alma 32 "experimenting with the word" . . . to try to crack an egg pushing on it with both hands?  Think it will be easy or hard?  Doable?  Not doable?

Art Recreations Youth Activity

This was a fun to prepare for activity! We had to go borrow stuff from Grandma's house! 

   

 

 

 

Derby Day

Due to the pandemic - the Derby was delayed from May to September ... with no spectators.   We watched it on our computer.   

 

Ak in prom dress

 To prepare for a YW activity - we needed a blue dress .  . . for 5 minutes.   So I didn't want to buy or make one.   I remembered a friend who is currently serving a mission had a prom dress - so we emailed her and asked if we could borrow it. . . she said yes, so we made an appointment with her mom to come by for a photo shoot!!  Ak enjoyed putting it on - so we took a few extra pictures.  :)  Thank you Chloe!
