Colorado (New Years in CO & FL)

With 2 teenage drivers to give breaks, we left at 4 am Dec 26 and drove straight there!

Dec. 28

 

Not super clear - but super fun to ski together a day at Loveland!

 

Soup Bread Bowls - our go to lunch item to order if it's on the menu!

 

  Cousins had fun together - gave us sisters time to ski together too!

Played games.  Hung out.  Went to a regional activity with ice skating and a dance!  Saw a fire from miles away - it was on the news a lot!   So many pictures but no time to post more here since I'm catching up.

 

Had a New Years Eve Dance party for local families!  It snowed all day and we weren't sure if it would be cancelled - but people came!  Em did a great job!

Jan. 1.... delayed leaving due to all the snow that came.... kids went sledding before we headed home (bringing Gma & Gpa who flew out earlier.)  

D didn't come along  on this trip - he drove to GA to meet up with AJ & C and then they drove to Florida to hang out a couple days.  Then they met up with Matt & their uncle to go to a UK Bowl Game on January 1!

Christmas Market in Indiana

 Dec. 21:  Christmas Market = AWESOME!  Up in Carmel, IN.   Free parking, pricey food - but delicious!  

 

  

 

 

Mom was UBER excited about eating potato pancakes!

She told the lady making them and that lady gave her a free

plate to take home for later!!!  :) 

Dec. Catch Up

Dec. 1 Putting up the tree in honor of Uncle Ben's birthday.

 

Dec 5 - We joined in Grandma's Piano Recital

 

Mom has had 2 students (Gabe was sick.)  Akili has been teaching Harrison!  And he played!

 

Dec 5 - VB end of season Banquet

B was the varsity captain (not the all team captain), so she had to help with the program.

They donated the proceeds to the DCD from their Breast Cancer Awareness Game!

Dec. 19 - Had Christmas dinner at RW's & Brooke's house:

Then AJ and Cyndy showed up for Christmas!!!!  (gifts for the girls feet!)

Dec. 21: New movie!
