Day 2 of Labor Day weekend: Here's our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin. It was fine . . . . 
but it was hottest day in awhile and these cabins have no AC. In the cabin 95 degrees!!! D hearing how hot it was on Day 1 - brought one of his friend's window unit! D hooked it up and it took awhile for it to work - but it finally did cool one room down. The other roooms - we had fans on!!! 
AJ bought him this toy knife and pouch. He really wanted to wear it - so she loaned him her belt too! She took them to the gift shop there! You know I'm not doing that -I'm all about the photo souvenirs! (: B got a bag of magnetic looking rocks and Ak got a small stuffed animal bat. B tucked hers away like she often does with treasures and Z and Ak played with their gifts the whole weekend!!!
Luckily on this HOT day - we had tickets to go on a tour underground!!! As we neared the enterance - we could feel the cool air. It was heaven was waiting for us ahead!!! At least for me!
They each had a buddy to stick with and I took pictures. (:
We weren't sure how the kids would do underground - but they did great and we all enjoyed it!!!

I love magnetic rocks!! That's awesome that D was able to put an A/C in the cabin! That's funny how you said you're all about "photo soo-van-ears"! (the computer is telling me I'm spelling the word wrong, so forget it! I'm going to sound it out! Ha ha!) When you mentioned feeling cool air at the cave entrance, I could FEEL the cool air that you were talking about! That's funny that you said, "Heaven" was waiting for you ahead! I totally remember that feeling as we get near the caves! I love that feeling! Especially in HOT "the state where you are"! In regards to the bats -- we have bats in our backyard! We often see them flying around as the sun goes down! That's funny that AJ didn't have to duck her head! And I'm glad that the kids enjoyed the cave!
Caves...we need to go with our kids next time in KY!
