My kids sang one song, "Little One" with the Primary children. I sang 3 songs with the ward choir. AND I got asked to sing a duet with a friend, "Baby in a Manger" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMayoX4qSjE Carla sang the higher part that you can barely hear in the above link - she sang lounder and clearer . . . but it gives you the idea. (:
Afterwards they had the gym all dim and beautifully decorated - thanks to Wendy Studer!
We didn't stay to chat - just stayed in line to get a couple cookies - I felt the kids needed that closure to a nice devotional. (: But they had school the next day. Thus ends my season as a choir member. It's a good way to feel the spirit at the Christmas Devotional.

Wow! That song, "Baby in a Manger" is beautiful! I'll bet you sounded awesome, A! Thanks for sharing the link! I think I'll share it on FB! The kids look great in their outfits! That's nice that there were nice things to look at in the gym. We had nativities in all of the outside rooms and in the gym at our Ward building, which is also the Stake Center. There were lots of different nativities. One person commented that they like the nativities that are made of fabric or something so that the kids can play with them. Because all kids want to play with the figures of the nativity. I remember Dad & Mom had those big plastic figures.
